Fresno Night CX Race Jan 14th
The "Lou" Night race
Fresno's Fall/ Winter Cyclocross Series Jan. 14th 2006, Woodward Park,
Fresno, California
On Jan. 14 we will conduct a special event called, The "Lou" Night Race*. This race is to honor one of our founders of off road cycling in Fresno, Louie Casiano Jr. We will have a lot of special events going on that Saturday night, Music, Coffee, Hot Cocoa, Kids "Fun" Race, Classes for riders from Novice to Expert, all bikes welcome! Bike contest and prizes for the most "colorful and brightly lighted" bikes. Awards party after the race at Tri-Sport Bicyclies, Blackstone and Nees, at 9PM. This is an USA Cycling/ NORBA event.
Volunteers always welcome so come out & pay tribute to a local legend and have some fun too!!! The Fun begins at 6 PM, follow park loop until Horse Trail sign and race signs to free event parking.. Go to, http://www.ccorc.com/cross.html for all the info and results and series standings, and a lot more about local riding around Fresno.
* Plus, Comcast Cable TV will air a 30 min show of the event as well*
